This type of system requires the purchase and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as ongoing IT support. It offers greater control and customization options. And is the better value for long-term clients Cloud-based IP telephony, on the other hand, is hosted in the cloud and accessed through the internet. Cat6 and Fiber Optic

Network Infrastructure

Cat6 and Cat6a are types of Ethernet cables used for data network cabling. Cat6, or Category 6, supports data transfer speeds up to 1 Gbps over a distance of 100 meters and up to 10 Gbps for shorter distances. It operates at a frequency of 250 MHz. Cat6a, or Category 6a, is an enhanced version with improved performance, supporting 10 Gbps speeds over the full 100-meter distance and operating at a frequency of 500 MHz. Cat6a cables have better shielding to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Both types are commonly used in residential and commercial networks to ensure reliable and high-speed data transmission.

Internal fiber optic cabling is used within buildings and facilities to transmit data at high speeds over long distances with minimal signal loss. It utilizes thin strands of glass or plastic fibers to carry light signals, enabling faster and more reliable data transmission compared to traditional copper cables. Fiber optic cabling supports high bandwidth and is immune to electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for environments with high data demands. There are two main types: single-mode, which is used for long-distance communication, and multi-mode, suitable for shorter distances. Internal fiber optic cabling is essential for modern network infrastructures in offices, data centers, and industrial settings.
